How it works

Three steps from the site to a photo nobody has to take on trust.

  1. Capture

    Take the photo with the Vidimu camera. The time, GPS coordinates, address, project and your own fields are burned into the image.

  2. A code is printed on the photo

    Each photo gets its own 14-character code. The code, the capture time, the location and two image fingerprints are registered with our server. The photo itself stays on your phone.

  3. Anyone verifies

    Whoever receives the photo opens the address and sees when and where it was taken. They can also check whether their copy matches. The check runs in their browser and the photo is not uploaded.

Received a Vidimu photo? Enter the code printed along its edge after vidimu.com/v/. You will see when and where the photo was taken and can check whether your copy matches.

14 characters. Codes never contain I, O, 0 or 1; spaces and dashes are ignored.

Verification never needs your photo

To verify, only the code, capture time, location, two image fingerprints and a random device ID reach our server in Türkiye. Never the photo. Photos are uploaded only if you sign in and use cloud backup or a team workspace. The free plan shows ads from Google AdMob; Pro and Team have none. We use no analytics or crash-reporting service of our own.
