Terms of Use

The rules that apply when you use the Vidimu app, the web panel, this website and the verification page.

Last updated: 9 October 2026 · Effective from 9 October 2026

1. About these terms

These terms govern your use of the Vidimu mobile app, the web panel at app.vidimu.com, the website vidimu.com and the verification page at verify.vidimu.com (together, the “service”). The service is provided by VISORYA YAZILIM VE TEKNOLOJİ A.Ş. (“Visorya”, “we”), Akademi Mah. Gürbulut Sk. Teknokent Sitesi No:67, 42130 Selçuklu / Konya, Türkiye.

By installing or using the service you accept these terms. If you use Vidimu on behalf of a company, you confirm that you are authorised to accept these terms for it. How we handle personal data is explained in our Privacy Policy.

If you downloaded the app from the App Store or Google Play, their terms also apply. These terms are between you and Visorya only; Apple and Google are not responsible for the app, its content, maintenance or support. For the iOS app, Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them. For the iOS app, Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA) also applies; these terms do not replace it but add to it.

2. The service

Vidimu is a camera and record-keeping app for field teams. It offers a watermark camera with templates that burn time, GPS coordinates, address, project and custom fields into photos; a verification code for each photo and a public verification page; a punch clock; projects and folders; tasks with manager approval; and, with an optional Vidimu account, cloud backup and sync, team workspaces and the web panel at app.vidimu.com. Some features depend on the Pro or Team plan (section 5). What each plan includes is shown on the plan screen in the app and may change over time.

3. Who can use Vidimu

Vidimu is a professional tool. You must be at least 16 years old to use it. You must use it in line with the laws that apply to you and your work.

4. Your account

An account is optional; Vidimu also works without one. Team workspaces, the web panel and cloud backup need an account. When you create one, you must give accurate information, keep your password secure and not share your account with others, and tell us if you notice unauthorised use. You can delete your account at any time in the app, on the web panel or by e-mail; see Delete your account and data. We may suspend an account for security reasons or abuse.

5. Plans, subscriptions and payments

  • Free use. Vidimu’s basic features are free and need neither an account nor a payment. The free plan shows ads; Pro and Team remove them (see section 9a of the Privacy Policy).
  • Pro and Team. Paid plans are sold as subscriptions with a monthly or yearly period. Pro is for individual use; the Team plan is for a team workspace and comes in tiers of 5, 10, 15, 20 or 25 seats (section 6). What a plan includes, its storage and its price are shown on the purchase screen for your country and currency. Prices are applied by the store and can differ between countries.
  • Purchase. Subscriptions are bought in the app through the Apple App Store or Google Play and are subject to their terms. Payment is charged to your Apple account or Google Play account when you confirm the purchase. We do not receive your card details.
  • Free trial. Some plans may offer a free trial to new subscribers. The length of the trial and who can use it are shown on the purchase screen. If you do not cancel in time (see “Automatic renewal” for the deadline), the subscription moves to the paid period and you are charged.
  • Automatic renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically for another period of the same length unless you cancel before the renewal. The exact rules are the store’s: on the Apple App Store, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends and the renewal is charged within 24 hours before the period ends; on Google Play, you must cancel before the renewal date shown in your subscription (Google Play › Payments & subscriptions › Subscriptions) and the renewal is charged by Google Play on that date.
  • Cancellation. You can cancel at any time on iPhone in Settings › [your name] › Subscriptions, or on Android in Google Play › Payments & subscriptions › Subscriptions. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period, and your entitlements continue until then. Deleting the app or your account does not cancel a subscription.
  • Refunds. Refunds are handled by the store where you bought the plan (Apple or Google) under its policies and the law that applies to you; send your refund request directly to the store.
  • Price changes. If we change the subscription price, you will be told in line with the store’s rules; in some cases the store asks for your consent. If you do not consent, the subscription does not renew.
  • Restoring purchases. On a new device or after reinstalling, use “Restore purchases” on the plan screen to get your entitlements back.
  • When a subscription ends. When your subscription ends, your Pro or Team entitlements end: in your personal space, cloud backup and sync stop; in a team workspace, the storage limit drops to that of the free plan and new invitations cannot be sent, but existing members are not removed. Your content on our servers is not deleted immediately because of this; you can export or delete it.

6. Team accounts and seats

  • Owner. The person who creates a team workspace is its owner and buys the Team plan. The number of seats depends on the plan tier; the owner uses a seat too. The owner invites members with an invite code or link, sets roles (admin, member), manages who sees which project’s files and can transfer ownership.
  • Seats. While all seats are taken, no new member can be added; a larger tier can be bought. When a plan ends, nobody is removed from the workspace, but new invitations cannot be sent.
  • Members. Team entitlements apply inside that workspace; the storage limit of your personal space is not affected by a Team plan. When a member leaves or is removed, their records stay in the workspace.
  • Data. For the records in a team workspace, the company that owns the workspace is the data controller and Visorya is its data processor acting on its instructions. The company must inform its employees and have a lawful basis for processing their data, including their location and photos (section 7).

7. Your photos, your content and your responsibilities

  • Your content stays yours. You own the photos, videos and records you create (in team workspaces, the company does). We do not claim any rights to them. If you use cloud backup or a team workspace, you allow us to store and process your content only to provide the service (hosting, backup, creating thumbnails, showing it to your team, export). We do not use your content for advertising or to train artificial intelligence.
  • Storage and backups. Without an account, your content is stored on your device; you are responsible for keeping your own copies, and we cannot restore content that is lost with a device or deleted with the app. If you use cloud backup, your content is also stored on our servers; we still recommend that you keep important content elsewhere too. Captures, projects and workspaces you delete can be restored for 30 days (a deleted task or team cannot be restored). After that, a deleted capture’s files are erased and its record details (such as location and note) follow within 90 days at the latest; the record details of a capture linked to a punch-clock record or a task attachment can remain until that linked record is deleted. The content of a deleted project or team workspace is currently not erased automatically after the 30 days; we erase it on request. A deleted task’s uploaded attachment files are erased right away and the rest of its content after 30 days; a deleted team’s name and member list are erased after 30 days (see the Privacy Policy, section 12).
  • People and places. You are responsible for what you photograph and share, including having permission to photograph people and private property and for respecting their privacy.
  • Employers. If you use the punch clock, tasks or team features to manage employees, you are responsible for informing them and for having a lawful basis for processing their data, including their location and photos.
  • Public verification data. The verification code printed on a photo lets anyone who has it see that photo’s capture time and precise location. Do not share photos whose time or location must stay confidential. Location is optional: you can turn it off in Profile › Save location.
  • Unlawful content. We may remove unlawful content or block access to it.

8. What a verification shows

A verification record shows that a photo with certain fingerprints was registered by the Vidimu app at the recorded time and location, and whether a given file matches it. It does not certify what the photo depicts, the quality of the work shown, or who took it.

Location comes from the device and can be inaccurate. If the device reports a simulated location, the photo gets no verification code, but not every manipulation can be detected. When a photo is taken offline, or its record reaches our server late, the capture time is shown as not confirmed by our server. A verification is technical evidence; whether it is accepted as evidence in a court, by an authority or in a dispute, and how much weight it carries, is for the people, courts or authorities assessing it. We give no guarantee about its legal value as evidence or its probative force.

Verification records are kept for 5 years after capture, as described in our Privacy Policy. After that, or if the person who took the photo asks us to delete the record earlier, the code can no longer be used to verify the photo.

9. Acceptable use

You must not:

  • create or attempt to create false verification records, or tamper with codes, timestamps, locations or fingerprints;
  • present a code as belonging to a photo it does not belong to, or otherwise use the service to deceive;
  • reverse engineer, bypass or attack the security of the app or our servers, except where the law expressly allows it;
  • overload the service or query the verification service or the API automatically in bulk with software other than the app;
  • use the service to secretly monitor or track people without their knowledge and a lawful basis;
  • share your account or your seat with others;
  • use the service for unlawful content or activities, or to violate the rights of others.

We may block devices and accounts involved in abuse and remove the records concerned.

10. Intellectual property

The app, its design, templates and software, and the Vidimu name and logo belong to Visorya or its licensors. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to use the app on devices you own or control, for your own work and in line with these terms. Open-source components are licensed under their own terms.

11. Availability and changes

We work to keep the service available, but we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may pause the service for maintenance, and we may change, suspend or discontinue features and what the plans include. If we discontinue the verification service, we will give reasonable notice where possible.

12. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, or the loss of content. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for intent or gross negligence, or your mandatory rights as a consumer.

13. Ending use

You can stop using Vidimu at any time: you can cancel your subscription, delete your account or uninstall the app; see Delete your account and data. We may suspend or end your access if you seriously or repeatedly breach these terms. Sections that by their nature should continue to apply after the end of use (such as sections 7, 8, 10, 12 and 14) remain in force.

14. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. The courts and enforcement offices of Konya have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, this does not take away the mandatory rights you have under consumer law, including the right to apply to the consumer arbitration committees and consumer courts competent under that law.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms, for example when new features or plans are added. We will publish the new version on this page and announce significant changes in the app or on this website before they take effect. If you continue to use the service after that, the new terms apply. For changes to subscription terms, the store’s rules also apply.
